The capital is known for its museums and mountains, astonishing art scene, and historical sites. Ala-Too Square is a plaza with historical statues located in the central square of Bishkek, built in 1984. Ala-Too means ‘great mountain’ and symbolizes the 60th anniversary of the Kyrgyz SSR. Proceed to explore the Museum of Fine Arts that opened in 1935. The museum is the main treasury of Kyrgyzstan.
